I am passionate about movement and its ability to transform our daily lives. I have been teaching dance and fitness for over 15 years. In an effort to build a program focused on high quality training for dancers, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts I created Elevated Forms. Through Elevated Forms I have combined all of my years of dance and fitness expertise into individually curated programs for movers to reach their movement goals. I am an ABT® Affiliate and Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. I am a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Sugarfoot Therapy instructor. In addition, I am a certified barre instructor, Level 2 certified Lagree Instructor, Pre/Postnatal Performance Training Specialist, and an ACSM certified Personal Trainer.

More about me . . .

I am a Latin-American dancer, teacher, choreographer and producer based in the Seattle area. My choreographic works have been seen at Velocity Dance Center, Seattle International Dance Festival, Theorist Fest (Austin, TX), Film Festivals, and Texas State University. I have been on the production team for international dance tours, large scale fundraisers, and events (The Stranger Genius Awards, Cornish College of the Arts, Velocity Dance Center, Northwest Film Forum, and more).

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and received several academic dance division scholarships. I performed inter/nationally and worked with choreographers Kim Lusk, Khambatta Dance Company, Amy Johnson, Dylan Ward, Ilona Roth, zoe | juniper, and Merge Dance Company. I was a Creative Resident at Velocity Dance Center in 2018 for my evening length work two hours which premiered at Velocity Dance Center to sold-out audiences in 2018. My dance films have screened at Seattle Transmedia Independent Film Festival (2016), Seattle True Independent Film Festival (2015), Texas State University’s Opening Door Dance Theater (2014) and San Souci Film Festival showing in Austin (2011).

In addition to being in the studio and on stage, I have worked behind the scenes as the Operations + Marketing Manger of artist management company SQUID MGMT. At SQUID I worked with leading contemporary dance artists zoe | juniper, Kate Wallich, Amy O'Neal, KT Niehoff, Blind Tiger Society, Peggy Piacenza, and Jody Kuehner producing performances, fundraisers, and events in the Pacific Northwest. I was an instrumental part in producing the A Pacific Northwest Platform (NYC 2016), inter/national tours and sold-out performances for zoe | juniper, Amy O'Neal, Kate Wallich, and KT Niehoff. I continue to offer business advice to local Seattle dance companies and other artists providing expertise in operations, website/branding building and management, and performance production.
